Project Overview
In September 2026, TS Display supplied a custom split flap display for a GSK Singapore product launch event centered around BLENREP.
BLENREP had received regulatory approval in Singapore in July 2026, and the event environment transformed the launch into a railway-inspired brand experience built around concepts such as “GSK Rail,” “Platform B,” “Board the Future,” and “Ahead Together.”
The split flap display was integrated directly into this environment, where its mechanical flipping motion and distinctive sound naturally reflected the character of a traditional railway departure board.
Instead of functioning simply as signage, the display became part of the event concept itself.
Design & Customization
The display used 30 compact 15 × 10 cm split flap modules arranged in a 2 × 15 layout.
This relatively small configuration provided enough characters for short event messages while remaining easy to integrate into the custom exhibition structure.
The flap cards were specially designed with letters and multiple colors to support both text and graphic sequences. During production and testing, the display was programmed with messages including:
NOW ARRIVING
BLENREP IS APPROVED
ELEVATE THE OUTCOME
TRANSFORM THE JOURNEY
GET ON BOARD
Color transitions and mechanical flipping sequences were also incorporated into the display, giving the installation more visual movement than a conventional static sign.
The result combined physical motion, typography, sound and branded color within one compact mechanical display.
Event Installation
At the event in Singapore, the finished split flap display was installed directly into the GSK Rail – Platform B environment.
The surrounding design recreated elements of a modern railway platform, with the split flap board positioned as part of the architectural display rather than as a standalone screen.
This made the technology especially appropriate for the concept.
The familiar movement of a mechanical departure board reinforced the railway theme while delivering changing campaign messages to visitors throughout the experience.
For this project, the split flap display was not simply added to the event space — its mechanical character became part of the storytelling.
Result
The completed system operated successfully during the event and integrated naturally with the overall GSK installation.
The client was highly satisfied with the finished display and confirmed that the event went well.
The project demonstrates how even a compact 2 × 15 split flap display can create a strong visual presence when the mechanical movement is integrated into a broader creative concept.
It also shows the potential of split flap technology for product launches, corporate events, brand activations, exhibitions and experiential installations where brands are looking for something more memorable than a conventional digital screen.
