Project Overview
TS Display created a custom Split Flap Display for the 3CE STYLENANDA flagship store in Shanghai, China.
The store features a train-station-inspired retail concept, combining platform-style signage, themed destinations, and immersive interior design to create a memorable shopping experience. As one of the key visual installations inside the store, the Split Flap Display presents the 3CE logo, brand messages, and train-style destination information with real mechanical flipping motion.
Unlike ordinary digital screens, the display brings physical movement, sound, and mechanical texture into the retail environment. It helps create a more dynamic, immersive, and memorable retail experience.
Design & Customization
The Split Flap Display was fully customized to match the visual identity of the 3CE STYLENANDA store.
Its black flap surface, white characters, and train departure board style create strong visual contrast against the warm interior design. The content includes the 3CE logo, “EXPRESS FOR 3CE,” and themed destinations such as ISLAND, CANYON, MAZE, and POOL, echoing the store’s railway-inspired concept.
With its authentic mechanical movement and distinctive flipping effect, the display works not only as commercial signage, but also as a visual storytelling feature for the retail space.



Result
The finished Split Flap Display became one of the most eye-catching areas inside the 3CE STYLENANDA flagship store.
Its retro train-station aesthetic, customized brand content, and real mechanical flip motion helped strengthen the store’s visual identity and encouraged visitors to stop, watch, take photos, and engage with the space.
This project demonstrates how a custom Split Flap Display can enhance retail branding while combining functional signage with immersive customer experiences.
